Recent Project:

After a large landslide, Devon Stone Walling were contracted to build a retaining wall to prevent further movement. The earth and rock excavated from the site amounted to over one hundred tonnes, this was removed from the site to be used as back fill when the retaining wall was complete. Once all of the debris from the site had been removed we excavated a footing and poured the concrete which supports the 4.3m high retaining wall. The wall itself is constructed out of almost twelve hundred concrete blocks, clad with fourteen tonnes of natural stone. When the wall was complete, we backfilled using the earth and rock that was originally excavated from the site.
